UDE 4.6 once again sets new standards in the areas of trace functions, multicore debugging and test automation
Speaker: Heiko Rießland, PLS
The new version 4.6 of Universal Debug Engine from PLS simplifies the development for deeply embedded heterogeneous SoCs. It is expanded not only with a number of functions for multi-core debugging and trace, but has also added completely new features for test automation. Using different examples PLS showed the main features of the tool version at Embedded World 2016. Highlights were multi-core debugging in one consistent user interface for AURIX from Infineon, external AURORA trace recording from a MPC5777M from NXP, external parallel trace of four different trace sources using a Zynq-7000 from Xilinx and system level analysis functions like Code Coverage and Profiling.
